Scaevola aemula 'Midnightr', Fan Flower - IMG 9356

There's no prize for guessing the reason behind the common name of this Australian native plant, for with its petals growing in the shape of a fan what else could it be called other than 'Fan Flower'? It's a low growing perennial plant , with several cultivars commonly grown in Australian gardens where it is primarily used as a container or rockery plant.
